Quick Six Pack Abs: Why Ab Exercises Don’t Burn Fat

Article by Robert Keane

The most common misconception about abs is that there is some miracle workout that both burns fat and develops muscle. Truth be told, despite what anyone may tell you or advocate, this is not true. Ab exercises alone do not generate a high enough metabolic response in your body to burn fat.

And you’ll see it all the time, whether in bodybuilding forums or throughout the internet, people claim that if you do some certain workout routine or exercises you’ll get a six pack in no time. This can’t be more wrong, as the number one problem when it comes to not having six pack abs is having too high of a body-fat percentage.

So what workouts do you need to be doing to burn body fat and get abs?

Full body, multi-joined exercises are considered the holy grail of fat burning exercises. Simply put, there the most effective way of getting you where you’re trying to go. There’s no other exercises that increase your metabolic rate and put more strain on your body than these. So what do some of these exercises include? Here’s a few to get you started:

1) Deadlifts2) Squats3) Mountain Climbers4) Sprinting

And don’t get me wrong, ab exercises are important and necessary for developing a six pack. But when over 95% of people have too high of a body-fat percentage to even have their abs show, I do put an emphasis on fat burning workouts like these.

And this is why the fastest way to get abs doesn’t lie in relentless crunches and cardio. If you do the above exercises every other day, for 2 weeks straight you will notice results. It’s also important to note, however, that healthy nutrition also plays a significant role in both how fast you lose weight and how quickly you build muscle. If you eat nothing but junk food all day, you will never see any progress and your abs will be always covered in ugly fat.

So, as a recap:

Ab exercises alone won’t help you lose weight

Multi-jointed, entire body exercises are king when it comes to losing weight

Maintain a healthy nutrition with healthy non processed foods closest to their natural state for best results.

What Are The Best Ab Workouts That Burn Belly Fat

Article by Joshua Kirby

What is the best abdominal workout for finally ridding yourself of that awful belly fat?

Crunches? Or sit ups? How about the great pieces of abdominal equipment out there on the market? You know, the ones you see on the infomercials at 2am. Those work right?

Hmm… somehow I don’t think so.

Unfortunately, those with a little excess stomach fat that are looking for a miracle abdominal workout will never find it. Why? Because the best ab workout for getting rid of belly fat and bringing out those sexy abs of yours does not exist. At least not one that works all by itself.

The truth is you do not burn stomach fat by doing abdominal workouts only. You see, focusing solely on working out your abs does not create an adequate metabolic response in your body to start burning fat. You might feel the burn, and you might work up a sweat, but unfortunately it is not enough to really get the results you are seeking.

You should instead focus on building an intensive full body workout routine, that incorporates specific exercises that actually burn fat. Sure targeting your abdominals or any other part of your body for that matter, does have its place, but only when incorporated into a strategic high intensity full body workout.

There are many exercises that you could add to your full body routine, and here are some of the best and most effective… Various forms of squats, lunges, deadlifts, clean & presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc…

Focusing on a full body workout that incorporates many of those listed above, will generate the greatest hormonal and metabolic response within your body. This in turn burns more body fat, especially around the abdominal section. This is much more beneficial than targeting your abs alone, and is the fastest way to burn the fat, and get a rock solid stomach.

Now it is also crucial to mention that nutrition is really the key factor when it comes to losing body fat and bringing out those 6-pack abs. It doesn’t matter how hard you exercise, if you are still eating rubbish food every day then those tight abs you want will not become reality.

In conclusion, if you want to lose that body fat and develop your abs, stop focusing solely on abdominal exercises, and instead focus on building a high intensity full body workout routine that will really burn the fat. Combine that with a healthy eating plan, and in no time flat, you’ll have the sexy flat stomach you’ve always dreamed of.

Abs Exercises Do Not Burn Belly Fat

Article by Ismail Joseph

It looks like that everybody is continuously asking me what the greatest abdominal exercises are to make a flatter belly. The ordinary belief that ab exercises will help you to get rid of stomach fat is one of the largest misconceptions I deal with each day as a fitness expert. Approximately every person has changeable levels of extra body fat in the abdominal area, and the finest way to burn off that ultra belly fat persists to elude the majority.

The catch is that the majority of population are looking for the wrong workouts and exercise kinds to get rid of stubborn tummy fat. Nearly all persons are looking for a number of miraculous blend of abdominal exercises joined into the finest abdominal workout yet invented that will burn off their stomach fat sooner than you can read this article.

Alas, ab-specific exercises don’t burn fat off of your abdomen. They simply tone and strengthen the basic abdominal muscles. What you actually require to concentrate on is a complete body strategic workout which will cause a much bigger metabolic rate boost and fat-burning hormonal response from your training plan as a total.

Also, simply doing cardiovascular exercises won’t necessarily generate the utmost metabolic response or hormonal response either. What you actually need is a much further rounded training program which concentrates on training the whole body with resistance training and multi-joint workouts in a advanced intensity form.

This kind of excessive intensity extensive body training joined with a healthy reasonable diet full of nutrient concentration on a regular basis, is the true answer behind the ultra belly fat that covers up the abs. This is a much better strategy of attack than merely trying to do ab exercises and hoping that barely doing a group of ab workouts like crunches and leg lifts are going to get you to get rid of your belly fat.

The surprising matter is that the most of the people still believes that in order to get rid of stomach fat, you require to do ab exercises each day of the week using hundreds of reps. I predict public giving this kind of ridiculous advice every day on all of the fitness websites and forums. Please do not throw away your time with this kind of advice!

At this point prior to saying “how can an abs expert not suggest abdominal exercises”, understand that I do strongly believe that a particular amount of ab-specific workouts varied into your routines are beneficial. Ab workouts will help you strengthen and tone the bdominal muscles and are helpful for other goals such as a healthy back and posture if done correctly. On the other hand the fact remains that ab workouts are not basic for fat loss.A much clever complete body resistance training habit and a clean healthy reasonable diet are the most valuable aspets. Many of the round body workouts also indirectly bring about the abdominals and essence because of the stabilization necessary in some of the other challenging variations.

The “Med Ball Push-Ups” is one of the best movements to stimulate growth for your chest. It is an awesome functional, athletic movement for you athletes. Remember, you will work the target muscle better by visualizing the target muscle. Go slow (a 3-1-3 tempo), and visualize that you are squeezing water out of a sponge in the chest. Think about pushing the elbows apart as you go down, pause at the bottom feeling the chest stretch, and slowly push the elbows toward the middle on the way up. The Med Ball Push-Ups works not only your pec major and minor in a very unique way, but because of the instability factor, works the smaller underlying muscles and tendons in a very positive way as well. If I can get one point across to you it would be; the major key for you to make your muscles grow, relating to specific exercises is that you need to stimulate the muscle with unique tensions that they have not felt before by doing new exercises and putting the mind in the muscle and visualize squeezing the target muscle. For the most part, keep the rep tempo slow; 3 seconds down, pause for 1 second (squeezing the target muscle) and 3 seconds up. You will not make your muscles grow by going heavier with your major lifts like the bench press, and dumbbell press. In fact if you continue to lift with the “How Much You Bench” mentality you will
