Abdominal Fat Exercises Using Exercise Equipment
Article by Joanna Whitmire
People are always looking for the next big thing in abdominal exercise equipment, but the truth is you only need a few basic items and you will be on your way to flat abs and a toned core. Though traditional crunches and sit-ups are usually effective for toning, they can become boring and routine rather quickly. Here are five items of equipment that you can use in your abdominal fat exercises to gain the most effective workout from the shortest amount of time spent exercising.
The exercise ball, which is sometimes called the stability ball, is a highly versatile tool for abdominal fat exercises that helps to improve your core stability. It exercises your stomach muscles as well as a large portion of the rest of your body. In order to stay balanced on the ball, your abdominal muscles must remain tight; a task which is often a bit harder to do than most people think.
Next, let’s discuss the medicine ball. Simply put, the medicine ball is just a weighted ball. Medicine balls can greatly enhance your abdominal workout even though some people may believe that they are only for athletes, such as boxers. After traditional crunches or other abdominal exercises become too easy, adding some type of resistance is a great way to increase the intensity of your workout. You can do that with a medicine ball.
To add resistance to your lower body workout, try ankle weights. Ankle weights increase the intensity of leg raises and reverse crunches. As with the other exercises mentioned, when regular leg raises or crunches become less of a challenge, adding ankle weights will increase the muscle workout on your abs. The ab power wheel or the abdominal wheel is just what it says it is; it is a wheel with a stick in between it, with which you can do roll outs. This can be a most challenging abdominal exercise.
If you don’t happen to have any abdominal exercise equipment available, then the floor is a great option. Some really effective abdominal fat exercises you can do on the floor are the plank and bicycle crunches. So if you thought you could use the excuse that you don’t have an exercise ball, think again. You can begin working your abdominals practically anywhere.

Basic ab & core exercises for beginner and veteran martial artists. There are many more than the ones I demonstrate here. These are just a few of my favorites. Try do to at least 3 or more sets of any one or more exercises demonstrated above. Each set should consist of as many repetitions as you can do until you can’t do any more. Rest for about 30 seconds to 2 minutes after you complete a set, and then continue on to the next set. If you did enough, your abs should be sore the day after your training session. It will take anywhere from 2-6 days for your abs to recover after an intense ab workout session. When your ab muscles have recovered and rebuilt, and your soreness is gone, begin another intense ab training session (but make sure to ingest enough protein and get enough sleep during the in-between-session recovery periods). You should only need to train your abs about once or twice a week. However, if you did an ab training session, and your abs aren’t sore the next day or the day after that, it probably means you didn’t do enough sets or reps in your recent training session. Increase your sets or the amount of reps in your sets, then try again. And/or you can change the type/s of exercises you are doing during your training session. Remember, if you are going for aesthetics (ripped looking abs) instead of just strong abs, then ab training alone won’t do the trick. Even if you have strong abs, they aren’t going to show through well if they are covered with belly fat …

Abdominal Exercises to Get a Rock Solid Six Pack Abs and a Super Model Body
Article by Casey Gentles
If you are seeking to get a rock solid six pack abdominal section, then doing the right exercises is going to be crucial in order to achieve your goal. You can spend countless hours doing sit-ups and only to find that they are having no benefits much to your disappointment. You should therefore take the time to chose smart abdominal exercises designed to produce results. This will not only save you gym time but also prevent you from exhausting your body on methods that don’t work.
In this article, I will provide you with some lower abdominal exercises that you can do to get a six pack abs right from the comfort of your home.
For your abdominal exercises to be very efficient, you have to focus on movements that reduces your overall stability. The reason for this is because as you carry out the movements your core muscles will have to contract in order for you to maintain balance. That is also why doing regular sit ups alone will not build your six pack abs because they only target the superficial muscles.
Any abs exercise that is performed on an uneven surface will get the job done. An example would be working with an unstable ball or using a bench arranged at a 45 degrees angle. If you are working out from home then the unstable ball would be your best option. Simply sit in the center of the ball with your feet stably planted on the ground. You can go back slowly and as far as possible so that the lower abdominal muscles can also contract and relax as you come up back to resting position.
Another way to work your abdominal muscles would be to use weights. While this alone will not get you the toned abs you desire, using weight will help you to increase muscle mass, burn fat that will be lodged around your midsection and also increase your metabolism
Furthermore, doing weighted movements will also increase your strength greatly, reducing the risk of injuries from any other type of exercise you may attempt. Weighted ball crunches with a stability ball on your chest is my favorite home ab exercises.
When choosing when to perform your ab exercises, if you are looking for performance, do them on a separate day from all your other work. Just like any muscle group, you want to be fresh when you do them.

Quick Six Pack Abs: Why Ab Exercises Don’t Burn Fat
Article by Robert Keane
The most common misconception about abs is that there is some miracle workout that both burns fat and develops muscle. Truth be told, despite what anyone may tell you or advocate, this is not true. Ab exercises alone do not generate a high enough metabolic response in your body to burn fat.
And you’ll see it all the time, whether in bodybuilding forums or throughout the internet, people claim that if you do some certain workout routine or exercises you’ll get a six pack in no time. This can’t be more wrong, as the number one problem when it comes to not having six pack abs is having too high of a body-fat percentage.
So what workouts do you need to be doing to burn body fat and get abs?
Full body, multi-joined exercises are considered the holy grail of fat burning exercises. Simply put, there the most effective way of getting you where you’re trying to go. There’s no other exercises that increase your metabolic rate and put more strain on your body than these. So what do some of these exercises include? Here’s a few to get you started:
1) Deadlifts2) Squats3) Mountain Climbers4) Sprinting
And don’t get me wrong, ab exercises are important and necessary for developing a six pack. But when over 95% of people have too high of a body-fat percentage to even have their abs show, I do put an emphasis on fat burning workouts like these.
And this is why the fastest way to get abs doesn’t lie in relentless crunches and cardio. If you do the above exercises every other day, for 2 weeks straight you will notice results. It’s also important to note, however, that healthy nutrition also plays a significant role in both how fast you lose weight and how quickly you build muscle. If you eat nothing but junk food all day, you will never see any progress and your abs will be always covered in ugly fat.
So, as a recap:
Ab exercises alone won’t help you lose weight
Multi-jointed, entire body exercises are king when it comes to losing weight
Maintain a healthy nutrition with healthy non processed foods closest to their natural state for best results.

To be sincere… they are heading about the dilemma totally the incorrect way! The basic fact is that you don’t shed belly extra fat by undertaking ab exercises. The difficulty is that focusing most of your time and work on abdominal workout routines and abs exercises to consider to flatten your abdomen and carry out 6-pack abs is basically losing your time from carrying out the appropriate exercise applications that will acutally decrease your physique extra fat for very good.If I had been to select an solution as to what the very best workouts are for losing belly excess fat, my reply would consist of total system workout routines this kind of as the subsequent:different types of squats, lunges, deadlifts, clear & presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, and so forth. These sorts of complete physique workouts would encompass a considerably bigger percentage of the exercises I would design as a substitute of abs exercises immediately focusing on the midsection. The way you mix these complete entire body workout routines into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolic process is also incredibly important.Don’t get me incorrect… I do suggest a specific sum of physical exercises that specifically target the abs and core, but these are only a little fraction of the plans I style for my consumers as your time is better invested focusing on the total physique workouts that stimulate the greatest hormonal and metabolic alterations inside the entire body. In addition, a aspect-impact of operating out utilizing largely full entire body multi-joint combo workouts are that you indirectly operate your total midsection even even though you are not especially targeting the abs.Hold in thoughts that the most vital issue for losing belly extra fat to see your abs is actually in the diet arena. Beginning an Abdominals Exercise Program on a Tight Schedule
Article by Brian Shelton
What part of a man is the sexiest? Ask any woman and she’ll most likely say that the abs win, hands down.
The “abs”, or abdominal muscles, are often considered the most important part of the male physique. Celebrities like actor Brad Pitt and rapper 50 Cent are routinely chosen by women as being among the the most attractive men in the world. Why? Time and time again the answer women give is “toned, ripped abs”.
Right now, you are probably asking the question “How do I get my own toned, ripped abs?”. What is Brad Pitt’s secret? Well, it helps that Brad Pitt has a personal trainer, but don’t worry if you can’t afford one. You can begin an abdominals exercise program on your own by following a few simple tips.
The good news is that there really is no secret — anyone can get sexy abs by following a simple abdominals exercise program. The bad news is that toned, sexy abs don’t just happen overnight. Expect a few months of hard work before you see solid results.
But don’t get discouraged before we’ve begun. If you’re serious and you keep working at your abdominals exercise program, the results will be well worth the effort, and soon women will be ogling your abs, too.
There are really only two things you need to do to get tight, cut abs:1. Follow a healthy diet;2. Commit to a regular abdominals exercise program.
Following a healthy diet that’s low in fat is the first and most important step. Changing your diet should be done before beginning your exercise program. A diet doesn’t have to be hard, though.
To achieve the abs you desire, you should start by reducing your fat intake. Get rid of the “bad fats” first, such as the saturated fat commonly found in fast-food, potato chips, and similar junk foods. Then, cut back on unnecessary carbohydrates. Carbs are most commonly found in foods such as pasta, rice, and bread.
Don’t eliminate all the carbs from your diet, but do try to consume less at each meal, and avoid eating any carbs at all after 6 PM. This is because carbs can be easily converted to fat while you are sleeping.
This simple diet, combined with a regular exercise program, will help make your abs toned and tight. But remember, even if you exercise all day long, if you don’t follow a proper diet, you are unlikely to achieve your fitness goals.
The next step is to pick an abdominal exercise that you can do regularly. Most people should perform an ab strengthening routine two to three times a week. An average routine will only take fifteen to twenty minutes, so even if you’re very busy, you should have no problem fitting it into your schedule.
So begin your diet, pick a program, and get started. Good luck.

Select an Abdominal Exercise Equipment Program that Works
Article by Joseph Carter
While the abdominal crunch is still one of the most fashionable ab exercises, there are numerous pieces of outstanding equipment meant for ab exercises nowadays. With the Swiss Ball, you can do a multitude of different workouts and even add resistance. Since the balls essentially go anyplace you do, this is a good source of abdominal exercising you can execute anyplace.
Exercise videos are general ways to work out in the seclusion of your home and you can use these videos in concurrence with swiss balls, dumbbells, strength bands and other exercise equipment.
The rowing machine is a quality piece of equipment for ab exercises, because it targets your core region and back, while featuring a full body workout.
Obtaining the right exercise equipment isn’t easy. It’s challenging not to get excited about the equipment portrayed in infomercials; and some of the equipment is in reality good for abdominal exercises. Only there is one prudent you need to look at before committing a lot of resources in workout equipment, look for online reviews to ascertain what other people are saying about the equipment. An additional important consideration prior to buying any exercise equipment is to make sure you really enjoy that particular activity. Only because you would like to have flat abs doesn’t mean you’re going to enjoy exercising on every last piece of equipment designed to tone up that area.
Stay clear from gadgets that foretell surreal effects in minutes a day or flat abdominals without any effort. Exercise is hard work and quality equipment doesn’t perform the work for you. Attempt to keep an open mind and fully investigate before you separate with your hard earned money. If you do purchase home workout equipment, make sure it is put together or set up correctly and that you know how to use it prior to beginning.
Likewise, not all infomercial promoted equipment is suspicious. Sometimes, you can obtain good used exercise equipment in second-hand shops, but it’s significant to scrutinize any used equipment soundly to make positive it is safe. One negative in purchasing pre-owned workout equipment is that often the owner’s manual or user guide is no longer with the equipment. It may still be worth it because it is achievable to secure a owners manual from the manufacturer or find it online.
Moreover, it’s crucial to make sure that you are performing your abdominal workouts properly (which is to be sure that your abs are contracted, your back is straight, and you chest is high,) to forestall injury and to obtain the supreme benefit from your exercising. If you’re exercising at the gym, don’t pause to ask for a demonstration prior to using equipment you’re not familiar with.
Finally, take the time to discover which exercises you truly enjoy prior to investing in workout equipment.

Importance of Ab Exercising
Article by Willard Arias
How many people do you see in the gyms working out their abs day in and day out? Why is this? It is because a lot of people think they can make their abs visible by performing as much ab exercising as possible. Something is wrong with this picture however.
Firstly, why can we not see our abs? That’s right, because they are covered by a thick layer of tummy fats. And what is fat? That’s right, fat is stored by our body when we consume too much food and is a form of energy. So in order to lose this layer of fat and reveal our abs we must use this energy buried under our skin by consuming less energy than we use.
Sounds simple enough so far right! Okay, so why would people do ab exercising all day long when it will firstly burn out the muscles, and secondly does not utilize many calories/energy in the first place.
What we need in order to reveal or abs is not ab exercising, but cardiovascular exercise. This burns a far larger amount of energy to help us get our abs more visible.
Try cardio exercises which use the most muscle in order to burn more calories. Rowing in my opinion is the best and I have to this day, never seen a fat rower.
Our abs and core in general are stimulated by pretty much every exercise we could do, so there is not need to train abs directly too often. Maybe once a week at the most. By performing big compound movements (movements that use multiple joints. Leg extension- isolation, Squats- compound), we will utilize our abs enough anyway, while burning far more calories. If you want to get the best results, then limit your ab exercising and ensure you perform compound movements. This is basic advice, but it really does work.
